- This is an excellent point. The choice of Palin, apparently rather last minute, says much more about Mcain's decision making than about Palin. I think we should be focused far more on that. Mcain's reactive style is his biggest (obvious) hindrance. And here he goes again. Not good.

- She is in the national arena and must be vetted by the public /press but leave family alone. That dead bear is quite another matter...!
